Responsible as the technical lead for optical network deployment projects (DWDM & FTTx) to ensure the entire project lifecycle (design, installation, commissioning, until service activation) is delivered according to technical standards, project timelines, and service quality requirements (SLA).

What You'll Do

• Verify network designs including link budget and power budget calculations for DWDM and FTTx implementation.

• Lead and supervise field engineers during deployment activities including fiber optic cable installation, splicing, commissioning, and implementation of active devices such as OLT, Transponder, Mux, and Huawei OSN equipment.

• Lead advanced configuration and integration processes into the Network Management System (NMS), ensure end-to-end connectivity and network readiness before service activation.

• Become the main escalation point for complex troubleshooting during deployment and operational incidents.

• Conduct quality assurance activities through OTDR, OSA, Optical Power Meter (OPM), and Bit Error Rate (BER) testing.

• Prepare technical documentation including As-Built Drawings, acceptance test reports, and project handover documents.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Optical Transmission (DWDM/OTN) and Access Network (FTTx/GPON).

• Hands-on experience configuring at least 1 optical transport device (i.e Huawei, Nokia, ZTE, or Cisco).

• Deep understanding of optical network architecture, fiber optic standards, link budget, and advanced optical measurements.

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring technical field teams.

• Strong analytical thinking and critical problem-solving skills.

• Professional Transmission certifications will be an advantage (i.e. HCIP Transmission, HCIE Transmissopn, CFOT, etc)
